La Liga: Real Madrid will ask Paul Pogba to sign Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid have reportedly again made Paul Pogba a top target in the transfer market. The Spanish giants are even said to be asking him to smooth the transfer of Kylian Mbappe.
Paul Pogba is entering the final year of his contract at Manchester United and has the chance to leave Old Trafford for free of a penny.
Manchester United paid Juventus £89m in 2016. He previously went to Juventus when he was young on a free transfer.
His performance in Turin was brilliant. But when he returned to United, his performances were up and down.
Paul Pogba has also been at odds with previous Manchester United managers, most notably Jose Mourinho. His agent, Mino Raiola, has often led to speculation.
Manchester United want Paul Pogba to decide his future before Christmas this year. Because if he does not want to continue his career at Old Trafford, the club's management can immediately find a replacement per next season.
So far, Pogba has shown no signs of taking a stand. It might be different if United were able to win the title this season.
Spanish media outlet Diario AS claimed Pogba was back on Madrid's radar. Moreover, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have passed their peak performances at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Still in the same report, they hope Pogba can convince Kylian Mbappe to join him at Madrid.
The striker is also out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and while the Ligue 1 giants insist they are definitely looking at the 22-year-old's future in Paris, there is still no news of a contract extension.
And, with Karim Benzema already in the team, Real hope adding another Frenchman in Pogba to their squad can convince Mbappe to join them at the Bernabeu.
